Honours Day 2016 – Jocelyn Ardelia Kusnandar & Bryant Tan Wei Bin
Good afternoon parents, teachers, Ibu Florentina, Pak Fandam, Mr. Moses Sia, Dr. Peter Darmawan, Stamfordians and my fellow graduants
I am Jocelyn from P6-Integrity and i would like to deliver to you the first part of the graduates speech this afternoon.
It seems like just yesterday we were still in our seats doing our examinations and now, it’s the day when we say our goodbye’s to each other.
I knew it is hard but i consider myself lucky to have met such a wonderful group of friends, friends that care so much about each other that makes saying goodbye hard for all of us.
As we say our farewells, we remind ourselves that goodbyes are not forever nor are they the end, they are simply words to say that i will miss you dearly and that i will never forget you no matter what.
For the primary teachers, thank you for teaching some of us for the past eight years, thank you for being patient and thank you for everything. You not only taught what we had to be taught but what you thought we needed to learn and for that thank you.
May the road rise up to meet you, the wind be ever at your back, the sunshine warm upon you face and the rain softly on your fields, and until we meet again, may god bless you in the hollow of his hand. Thank you
Good afternoon everyone. I am Bryant from P6 Responsibility. I am giving this speech on behalf of my class. First of all, I would like to thank all the teachers who have taught and supported us all the way especially our form teachers from Primary 1 to Primary 6. Our time in Stamford has given us knowledge and experiences that we will need in the next stage of our growth and these will always be the vital foundations we can build upon. Thank you.
